Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many of the women I work with are carrying silent burdens—pain that’s been minimized, dismissed, spiritualized away or that they’re just too busy to give attention to and its been easier to shove it down - until now. Whether it’s the impact of a difficult or emotionally unpredictable parent, a controlling relationship, or wounds from childhood that still echo into adult life, therapy offers a space to pause, unpack, and begin again.

Some common challenges I support clients through include:

    • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge”

    • Struggles with sleep, rest, or nervous system regulation

    • Chronic people-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries

    • Deep self-doubt or self-criticism

    • Emotionally reactive patterns like outbursts, shutdowns, or withdrawing

    • High sensitivity to sound, conflict, or others’ emotional needs

    • Grief, life transitions, or burnout—especially in caregiving or ministry roles

    • Disconnection from faith, identity, or body after spiritual harm

  • My approach is whole-person focused, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and compassionate. I blend clinical tools with soul-deep care for gentle, yet highly effective, healing. I use methods like EMDR, Brainspotting, parts work (IFS-informed), somatic awareness, and CBT—all tailored to help you gently explore what’s beneath the surface and shift long-standing patterns at their root.

Therapy with me isn’t just about coping—it’s about healing all of you. Together, we create a safe space for your nervous system, your story, and your soul to come back into alignment with who you really are..

  • While I specialize in working with women, I also offer couples intensives to work through pre-marital, marital, and parenting issues. Reach out to learn more.

  • I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement through their insurance provider. If that’s something you’d like to explore, I can provide a superbill (a specialized receipt) upon request.

Session fees vary depending on the service.

    • Individual therapy (starting at 50 minutes): $130 +

    • Extended sessions or intensives: See “Intensive Package”

    • Group therapy: $350 / group (groups run 6-8 weeks)

I believe access to care matters—especially for those in ministry or lower-resourced roles—so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots, as well as special rates for clergy, missionaries, and ministry leaders.

A limited number of reduced rate slots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If cost is a barrier to care, please don’t hesitate to inquire about current availability.

  • I believe most women aren’t looking for traditional, weekly therapy that drags on indefinitely. We’re far too stretched for that (and that isn’t really in anyone’s best interest)—but we still need deep, meaningful healing.

    That’s why I offer a different rhythm.

My core work happens in 75+ minute therapy sessions—giving us space to move beyond surface-level support and actually tend to what’s underneath. I also offer therapy intensives (anywhere from 90 minutes to several hours or days) for those ready to go deeper, faster, or needing concentrated care around a specific area.

Between those deeper sessions, I offer shorter virtual check-ins when needed—to provide ongoing support without requiring weekly appointments.

This approach fits both the realities of your life and the depth of your story. It honors your time and your healing.

  • While my approach is shaped by a Christian worldview, I meet each person exactly where they are. Many who work with me want to integrate their faith + therapy, however, I’ve experienced religious trauma myself and have no agenda, assumptions, or pressure for indidivuals to incorporate faith into their healing process. I simply provide a safe and trauma-informed environment for all soul-centered women to explore how the pain of their past is showing up today keeping them stuck in their present so they can become free to live fully into who they’ve always been meant to be moving forward.

Some clients are actively involved in ministry or church life. Others are healing from spiritual harm, wrestling with faith questions, feeling disconnected from God altogether, and some are choosing to leave faith behind alltogether. All of that belongs here.

Your story, doubts, and desires are safe in this space.

I believe that healing is sacred—and that your faith (or your wrestling with it) can be honored, not forced or fixed.Item description

  • Each format offers something unique:

    • Individual Therapy gives you one-on-one time to work through trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, or spiritual harm at your own pace. It’s ideal if you're looking for personalized support, privacy, or feel unsure where to begin.

    • Group Therapy offers connection and healing in community. It is a human fact that we heal most when we integrate relationship in our healing process. Many women find deep relief in realizing they’re not alone in their experiences. My groups are safe, guided, and trauma-informed—perfect for those ready to explore shared themes like boundaries, burnout, or emotional healing with others who get it.

    • Therapy Intensives are a focused way to go deeper—whether that’s 90-minute sessions or multi-day healing work. Intensives are great for those who want to address specific patterns, need quicker momentum, or can’t commit to weekly sessions long-term.

If you’re not sure what you need right now, that’s completely okay. I offer a free 15-minute consult call where we can talk about your story, what you're hoping for, and what might be the best fit.
