Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many of the women I work with carry silent burdens—pain that’s been minimized, dismissed, spiritualized away, or simply pushed aside in the busyness of life. Over time, what was once manageable becomes too heavy to hold. Whether it’s the impact of an emotionally unpredictable parent, a controlling relationship, or lingering wounds from childhood that still echo into adult life, therapy offers space to pause, unpack, and begin again.

Some common challenges I support clients through include:

    • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge”

    • Struggles with sleep, rest, or nervous system regulation

    • Chronic people-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries

    • Deep self-doubt and self-criticism

    • Emotionally reactive patterns like outbursts, shutdowns, or withdrawing

    • High sensitivity to sensory stimulation, conflict, or others’ emotional expressions

    • Grief, life transitions, and burnout—especially in caregiving or ministry work roles

    • Disconnection from faith, identity, or body after spiritual harm

  • My approach is whole-person focused, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and compassionate. I blend clinical tools with soul-deep care for gentle, yet highly effective, healing. Methods used include EMDR, Brainspotting, parts work (IFS-informed), somatic awareness, expressive arts, and CBT—all tailored to help you gently explore what’s beneath the surface and shift long-standing patterns at their root.

Therapy with me isn’t just about coping—it’s about healing all of you. Together, we create a safe space for your nervous system, your story, and your soul to come back into alignment with who you really are..

  • I specialize in working with women ages 18+ who are seeking healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, burnout, or spiritual harm or recovering from abusive relationships. I also work with couples who are seeking to grow in connection and offer couples intensives to work through pre-marital, marital, and parenting challenges.

  • I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement through their insurance provider. If that’s something you’d like to explore, I can provide a superbill (a specialized receipt) upon request.

Session fees vary depending on the service.

    • Individual therapy (55 min.): $130 +

    • Extended sessions or intensives: varied

    • Group therapy: $299 + group (groups run 6-8 weeks)

I believe access to care matters—especially for those in ministry or lower-resourced roles—so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots, as well as special rates for clergy, missionaries, and ministry leaders.

A limited number of reduced rate slots are available for clients experiencing financial hardship. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If cost is a barrier to care, please don’t hesitate to inquire about current availability.

  • Most people I work with aren’t looking for therapy that drags on week after week. Life is full, and you need space for real, lasting change—not just maintenance.

That’s why I offer a different rhythm. My core work happens in 75-minute sessions—long enough to move beyond surface support and into true healing. For deeper or more focused work, I offer extended sessions (90–120 minutes) and therapy intensives (3 hours to 3 days).

Between these, shorter virtual check-ins are available when you need support without weekly sessions.

This approach meets the realities of your life while honoring the depth of your healing.

  • Therapy with me isn’t faith-centered. While I am upfront about my Christian beliefs and background, I meet you exactly where you are—whether you want to integrate faith or not. Many of my clients come from church or ministry backgrounds, while others are healing from spiritual harm or questioning what they believe. All of that belongs here.

Healing is sacred, and your story—faith, doubt, or anything in between—is safe in this space.

  • Each format offers something unique:

    • Individual Therapy gives you one-on-one time to work through trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, or spiritual harm at your own pace. It’s ideal if you're looking for personalized support, privacy, or feel unsure where to begin.

    • Group Therapy offers connection and healing in community. It is a human fact that we heal most when we integrate relationship in our healing process. Many women find deep relief in realizing they’re not alone in their experiences. My groups are safe, guided, and trauma-informed—perfect for those ready to explore shared themes like boundaries, burnout, or emotional healing with others who get it.

    • Extended Sessions or Intensives are a focused way to go deeper—whether that’s 90-minute sessions or multi-day healing work. Intensives are great for those who want to address specific patterns, need quicker momentum, or can’t commit to weekly sessions long-term.

If you’re not sure what you need right now, that’s completely okay. I offer a free 15-minute consult call where we can talk about your story, what you're hoping for, and what might be the best fit.
